Background & Approach
For 30 years, I have worked in roles supporting people through challenges and change, including leadership, mentoring, coaching, human resources, and community development.
I have worked in Australia and extensively in South-East Asia. These experiences shaped my understanding of resilience, cultural context, and the importance of creating spaces where people feel seen and supported.
Over time, this work led me to deepen my clinical training.
In 2021, I completed my Master’s in Mental Health Psychology and became a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. I now offer online counselling throughout British Columbia.
My approach is relational and collaborative, grounded in Emotion-Focused Therapy and Narrative Therapy. I integrate cognitive and mindfulness-based practices where helpful, supporting both emotional awareness and practical change.
My clinical work is supported by additional training in working with emotional patterns and the impact of past experiences, including Certified Clinical Trauma Professional Level II (CCTP-II).
I believe you are the expert on your own life. My role is to create a safe and collaborative space where you can explore what feels heavy, uncertain, or important. Together, we work at a pace that respects your limits while supporting meaningful and sustainable growth.
My work is best suited to individuals seeking support with current challenges, life transitions, and personal growth within a reflective and collaborative online space.
You do not have to navigate things alone. I would be honoured to walk alongside you.
